This site only exists because I needed some creative fulfillment after retiring from 40+ years as a Hollywood director of photography.  Even after teaching at the American Film Institute for 8 years I still needed to scratch that creative itch.  I chose still photography because it seemed more accessible but after cluttering our garage with 50+ large framed unsold prints I became intrigued by slide shows with music.   As video technology became more democratized, I honed my Final Cut Pro skills and began to sneak back into cinema by capturing my wife's organ performances (which can be found at theoprimes.com).  Although the works on this site were created mainly to preserve my sanity I hope with all my heart that you enjoy them.
